somber song tonight
the world decides to die
somber words used to fight
somber black sky
a candle burns out for me
a candle is doused with tears
a candle burned for so long
for 16 fucking years.
and now i have a lantern
without a wax or wick
my life follows this pattern
and gone is the candlestick.
you, the match
lit me on fire
the flame, it consumed me
filled me with desire
and that love has burned me down
i'm the wax under the once there flame
that has burned me to the ground
and somehow, i take the blame
for being so flammable
for being ready to light
and on the surface i'm wrong
my thoughts inside, different, are right

that's me-
fuck me up
shut me up
FUCK ME UP
and burn me down.
